About
The CCL Products Cotton Tack Cloth is an open-weave, resin impregnated cotton wipe that combines high dust absorbency with strength and wear resistance. A tack cloth is used to remove dust and paint overspray particles from a substrate prior to painting to provide a perfect paint finish. Dust, fluff, and grit particles are a major source of paint defects causing nibs, rough finishes, and centres of weaknesses & corrosion. Experience has shown that a tack cloth is the only safe and economical method for ensuring a dust-free surface onto which paint can be applied.

Method of Use
Make the substrate ready for spray painting, lettering, and countless other jobs involving the application of paint, printing inks, lacquers, varnishes etc. Lightly wipe the surface area once. All specks of dust and dirt are removed quickly and are effectively trapped within the Gramos PTR with one quick wipe. Use other folds when sufficient dust is collected on one side. The soft tack absorbent impregnates ensures maximum pick up and holding power. All dust and dirt particles likely to cause blemishes are firmly held and not transferred or shaken loose to become airborne and settle elsewhere. Care must be taken that surface to be wiped must be at ambient temperature and dry, free from solvent or water which may lead to transfer of resin from the cloth to substrate.
